The World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) has announced that almost 250 athletes from 58 countries worldwide will compete at the inaugural World Taekwondo GP in Manchester, UK, between 13 and 15 December, demonstrating the global appeal of the sport.
Seven of the eight gold medallists at London 2012 and 16 of the 2013 World Championships gold medallists will take to the mat in Manchester. The three day competition will feature competition across eight different weight categories.
